Slipping the Surlies
YES!! The Eagles are flying again! I got to walk out and watch the first Eaglejet in two months take off and it was a beautiful sight. They finally finished inspecting all the jets and told us which ones they are reasonably sure are not going to fall apart and to go give it a shot. That means we have 10 of 18 jets flying. Unfortunately that is not enough to be full up and each person is only going to fly about once a week till somebody with a bigger paycheck decides what to do with the other eight. So I guess that means we're going to be on a similar training schedule as the Iranian Air Force or somebody, which is very encouraging for our nation's safety. Okay, I jest a little cause we'll always be better because, well, we'll just always be better.
I'm on the schedule right now to fly on Wednesday so I'm very psyched about that. Also getting the house squared away and it's looking good. It always seems like there's something else to do or fix though; so time for another trip to Home Depot...

Remember that OPSEC thing they're always talking about? Maybe pay attention at the next briefing.
