Done with Instruments

Well, had my Instrument Checkride last Friday and it went great. So now all I have left in this part of training is Formation. This is the part I've been looking forward to for a long time! Yesterday I went up and flew 10 feet(less by accident a couple times) away from another dude's plane. It was awesome. Soon we start doing some basic aerobatics and stuff in formation. It's a pretty sweet time. Everything else is going well in Valdosta, except that I miss the mountains a lot. It was good to get up over christmas and go hiking with Paul and Catherine. I have been having fun taking my kayak out through the swamps. It's very different, but cool; it can be a little disconcerting when things start bumping against the bottom of your boat and you don' t know whether it's a log or a gator.
I'll finish up Phase 2 in about six weeks and I only have 14 flights left so it's actually going to be a little more chill (at least that's what I think)...
